It's Done!
A New Beginning by designed by the late Sue Gastler of Abbey Lane Designs.
33 Motifs, 30 floss colours, and between 150 - 200 hours.
I stitched this on 32 count Apricot linen with Vikki Clayton's HDF variegated silks.
The quote on the bottom, left-hand corner is from John Taylor:
She wrought so well in Needleworke
that she nor yet her worke
shall ere forgotten be.
I thought it a fitting tribute to Sue and her talent.
