I so loved stitching this piece. I had not stitched in so long, I thought perhaps I would never complete another project.

I started the monthly cottage series with October last year, and I just finished September. So I'm finally done with the whole year.... phew!!! So cool to see a fellow stitcher working on the series. I just love your fabric choice - that's a very pretty pink/peach. I see you are not afraid to change colors - that's very cool! I'm a little more timid, and honestly, before I started reading blogs and seeing how other people changed thread colors, it never occurred to me that I could even *DO* that! I guess I'm such a little rule follower.... haha!

Hello, Terri! Just found your great stitching blog :) I've been traveling a lot this summer so haven't had a chance to catch us up on my commenting.
Anyway--your October cottage is darling. And what fun fabric! It sounds like you've been away from stitching for a bit. I took a ten year break when my sons were growing up, but returned to it in 2003 and have never looked back. Stitching is so much fun AND it sure helps me de-stress :)
