Week Three: No Stitching

Well... almost three weeks.  My Mom had a major medical event on August 1st... she collapsed, suffered a seizure, and her heart stopped.  Luckily, the seizure took place in the ambulance and she was revived without issue.  But she spent almost two weeks in hospital.

I can't stitch like that -- I worry and fret too much.

She's home now and doing well.   She and I thank everyone who offered prayers and good wishes for her recovery! <3

Today, I finally feel like stitching again.  Problem is... I don't think Elizabeth and The Lavender Sky will be finished by Morgan's birthday at the end of the month.  I feel this turning into a Christmas gift... :(  Not what I wanted.

Nonetheless, I'm gathering my supplies and will get down to it in a few minutes.

Wish me luck!

Happy Stitching!

Terri

So glad your mom is doing better and it is indeed hectic when someone close is having issues. Changes your whole routine and lifestyle for a time.
Now it's time to take some time for yourself once again. Get those threads and charts out and go for it. Enjoy it.

Oh Terri I'm sorry to hear about your mom's medical issues! I hope she gets back into tip top shape really soon!

As for the stitching I would say start again when it feels right! And not a moment sooner.

Someone times you need to take a bit of time for yourself.

Send your family lots of positive thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!
