I started Little House Needleworks' Thread Gathering last night. It's really a fairly quick stitch so far.
I managed to decide early on that I prefered colours different than the ones suggested on the chart.
The outer border looked too 'thick' so I made it one band rather than two.
Th fabric is 28 ct. Whittenburg (Stoney Creek) that is 71% Linen and 29% Flax-cotton.
The outer border is GAST Nutmeg, the inner border (in progress) is GAST "Simply Shaker" Butternut Squash.
I'm going for a slighter softer look than the original.
I'll continue to work on this today and tonight and go to something dofferent tomorrow.
