Baseball: A personal rant

RANT ON:

Barry Bonds hit homerun number 747 last night.

Barry Bonds should've been expelled several years ago when his steroid use was first revealed to the public.

He disgraces his uniform.

The fact that MLB and Commissioner Bud Selig allows Bonds to continue to play speaks volumes about the sheer greed of the Baseball hierarchy.

Bonds is no Hank Aaron.

Hank Aaron believed in hard work.

He was a talented player who didn't need to rely on performance-enhancing drugs to make him great.

Bonds may hit more homeruns with his steroid-induced slugging --
but he will never hold the record for most homeruns hit by a drug-free talent-laden athlete of Hank Aaron's calibre.
