This is my 7th, finish of 2007! I think this is a record for me! Last year... I think I had 14 or 15 total finishes. I'm definitely on pace to break that record.
So, I've just completed The Tybee Island Lighthouse as a gift to Mike on our 17th Anniversary.
The piece was designed by Virginia Creekman of Tidewater Originals (modified somewhat by me as the Lighthouse's Daymark has changed), stitched up on 32 ct. "Sunrise" Lugana from Stab 'n' Stash using Vikki Clayton's silks.
I started this piece on April 5 and finished today -- I worked on it about 2 hours per day average, I think.
