The off-set of the bird is not causing as much trouble as I originally thought. I'm going to leave it until I finish up.
If, at completion, it looks "off" then I'll rip the bird out and re-stitch it.
Otherwise, I'm pleased with the way it's turning out. The scan doesn't do the piece justice at all. The colour of the silk is just popping against the darker linen.
I like Blackbird Designs. This is the second design that I've stitched, the first being Thistle Manor a few months ago. I'll be doing more.
I should have this done soon, I think. It's hard to put down.
