2011 -- No Obligation Challenge!

I participated in the 10-25-50 Challenge for a couple of years -- and did quite well.

However, I think I stitched so much (and so fast) that I stopped enjoying it. So, I don't know if I want to do that again.

There's the "Crazy" challenges I've seen recently: Start 15 new projects during the first 15 days of January. Uhm... NO.

Then, there's the "only stitch from your stash" challenge and the WIPs only challenge.

None of those appeal to me, either.

My challenge will be... to stitch what I want, when I want with no obligations.

I will finish what I can... when I can. I won't stress over it or set any time limits. I will stitch for comfort... for stress relief... for the pure pleasure of stitching.

And I will not feel guilty at all! :)

HA! I'm with you!
I have enough rules in my life right now. Thank you very much!
I have no need to have yet another thing to obsess about!
I usually have aome large projects and I sometimes consider it lucky that they got finished at all!
You do start to enjoy thisgs less when they become an obligation.

Oh Terri you could not have put my feelings into words any better...Over the years I have become totally focused on my stitching and now I have finished all my huge projects I am going to relax and include all others sorts of things in my life. ((()))

I did join the WIP/UFO one, but that doesn't mean I am only going to stitch on my WIP/UFO's all year that would drive me insane. I figure that if I get even one of them finished I will be happy dancing LOL
I just need to get in a routine.

I'm with you, no obligation stitching. Although, that being said, I am attempting to finish 12-15 WIP's or UFO's this year. Wish me luck........Nancy

I'm right there with you. I seriously THOUGHT about doing the start 15 new projects in 15 days as I've totally had startitis, but then I remembered that I would either have to FINISH those 15 or they would end up in the WIP pile, so I chose not to. I'm going to stitch what I want when I want. Period. End of story! :) SOOO glad you are back to stitching again!
