This is my latest finish (just this afternoon!), Be a Dragon by Enchanting Lair.
I used Vicky Clayton's Inky Depths instead of the suggested DMC Black to give the piece more depth and more substance. I think it worked out well. For the outline of his wings, I alternated DMC Metallics: Purple and Gold. Dinky Dyes #40 Daydream was used for the lettering.
This was a fun stitch -- and now my two gifts for Mike for our 16th Anniversary are complete -- just have to frame them!
